My name is David Parton also known as Solardaddy. I have enjoyed
drawing and painting
all my life, my primary focus has been animals (wild and domestic) and people
portraiture.
However, as long as I get to paint, the subject matter is not important.
I prefer to work with paintbrushes and an airbrush using acrylic paints on canvas.
When my cat Marley passed away from a sudden illness I decided to immortalize her character
and sweet nature through a portrait (shown above), which is now a treasured
memory of our friend.
This was the inspiration for my pet portraits.
I would love the opportunity to paint by hand,a warm and realistic
